Y. GÜRKAN TÜRKER

He was born in Mersin in 18th January 1971. After graduating from Uludağ University Medical Faculty in July 1993, He started to work as a general practitioner on November 1993. He joined residency program in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Reanimation at Uludağ University Medical Faculty on March 1995. In the same institutions, he received the titles of Anaesthesiologist, MD on 17th March 1999, Assistant Professor on 12th October 2004, Associate Professor on 22th March 2006, and Professor on 14th October 2011, respectively. In addition, he received a fellowship certificate in Algology on 4th April 2011. He attended a fellowship program at the “Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Academic Teaching Hospital, Hannover Nordstadt, Hannover, Germany” between 1st May and 30th June 2001. He was assigned to the heads of Algology Department and Anaesthesiology Department from 27th October 2015 and 27th October 2021, respectively. He teaches about Anaesthesia and Pain Management at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
