UFUK ŞEKİR

He was born in 1974 in Germany. He completed his primary and secondary education in Germany and his high school education in Bursa. He graduated from Bursa Yıldırım Beyazıt High School in 1989 and from Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. After graduating from Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 1998, he started his specialization in Sports Medicine at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in the same year. He received the title of Specialist Doctor in 2002, Associate Professor in 2006 and Professor Doctor in 2012. He worked in Gülhane Military Medical Academy between 2002 and 2003. He worked as the doctor of the Turkish Football Federation Youth National Teams between 2005 and 2015. He worked as the Director of Bursa Uludağ University Vocational School of Health Services between 2016 and 2020. He has been working as the Doping Control Officer of the Turkish Anti-Doping Commission since 2013. He gives lectures on musculoskeletal examination, lower back, knee, ankle and hip joint injuries in athletes and lower leg pain in sports at the level of bachelor’s degree. He gives also lectures on doping and anti-doping at postgraduate level.
