Education and Career

He graduated from Bursa Anatolian Highschool in 1986, and from Uludag University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. He started to work as research assistant at the Department of Forensic Medicine of Uludag University Medical Faculty in 1995 and finished his residency training in 1998. He became Assistant Professor in 2002, associate professor in 2006 and professor in 2011. Currently he teaches at undergraduate and graduate levels in clinical forensics, forensic pathology, forensic toxicology, forensic psychiatry and medical law.

Areas of Interest and Research

His work focuses on the areas of forensic age, forensic pathology and forensic toxicology and he clinically works on these topics:

Child abuse
Forensic psychiatry
Forensic autopsy
Forensic toxicology
Expertise and forensic reports
