Education and Career

He received his high school education in Kirikkale Science High School for first two years, and completed at Kirikkale Mehmet Akif Ersoy High School between 1995-1998. Then he completed his medical education in Selcuk University Meram Faculty of Medicine between 1998-2004 and radiology residency in Uludag University Faculty of Medicine between 2005-2011. In 2011, he got certificate from Turkish Society of Radiology. Between 2011-2013, he did his government duty as specialist in Tokat Niksar State Hospital. Between 2013-2016, he worked as radiology specialist in Uludag University Faculty of Medicine. He was assigned as academic staff in Uludag University Faculty of Medicine in 2016. In 2016, he was awarded with Turkey Inverventional Radiology Certificate from Turkish Society of Interventional Radiology. In 2018, he got academic title of associate professor. He has memberships in Turkish Society of Radiology, Turkish Society of Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe, European Society of Radiology.

Areas of Interest and Research

His practices are focused mostly on interventional radiology which is the developing branch of radiology. He has studies on vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures. Diagnostic biopsy, diagnostic angiography, central venous catheteterization, percutaneous drainage procedures, all kind of biliary interventions, urinary interventions, emergent or non-emergent embolization procedures, atherectomy and trombectomy, angioplasty and stenting in peripheral arterial and venous diseases, interventional treatments in cancer treatments, stroke treatment, vertebroplasty, carotid artery stenting, intracranial aneurysm treatment and similar procedures are in his field of interest.
