Education and Career

She graduated from Mersin Hacı Sabancı Highschool in 1991, and from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1997. She started to work as research assistant at the Department of Forensic Medicine of Uludag University Medical Faculty in 1999 and finished her residency training in 2002. She became associate professor in 2009 and professor in 2015. Currently she teaches at undergraduate and graduate levels in clinical forensics, forensic pathology, forensic toxicology and forensic psychiatry.

Areas of Interest and Research

Her work focuses on the areas of child abuse, forensic age, forensic pathology and forensic toxicology and she clinically works on these topics:

Child abuse
Forensic psychiatry
Forensic autopsy
Forensic toxicology
Expertise and forensic reports
