MUSTAFA TOK

Mustafa TOK MD. PhD. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. In 1993, he started his speciality training in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery as a research assistant and completed in 1999 then continued on the same department as a specialist doctor. He accomplished his military service in Ankara Gülhane Military Medical Academy. He continued as a staff surgeon in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine until 2001. He worked as a staff surgeon at SSK Bursa Cekirge Hospital and then SSK Ankara Ihtisas Hospital between 2001 and 2003 as head of department. In 2003, he started to work as an Instructor at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery. Between 2003-2006 he worked as an Instructor at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery. Between 2000-2006, he served as the doctor of the 10 th President of the Republic of Turkey, Ahmet Necdet Sezer. In 2006, he worked as a visiting clinician for heart valve repair at Mayo Clinic Cardiovascular Surgery Rochester, Minnesota USA. In 2006, he started to work as an Instructor at Uludag University Faculty of Medicine. He received the title of Associate Professor in January 2009. He became Professor in 2018. In 2011, between April and May, he worked on minimally invasive heart surgery at Leipzig Heart Center, Leipzig, Germany. In 2019, he completed his doctorate at Uludag University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physiology and received a PhD degree. He is a member of Turkish Cardiovascular Surgery Association, National Vascular Surgery Association, Turkish Phlebology Association and Turkish Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery Associations.
