MEHMET BAYKARA

After graduating from Bursa Uludağ University, School of Medicine in 1994, he worked as a research assistant in 1995-1999, as an instructor in 1999-2003, as an assistant professor in 2003-2005 and as an associate professor in 2005-2010 in the same faculty. He has been working as a professor doctor since 2010. In 2001, he studied mainly on the anterior segment, refractive and glaucoma surgeries at The Rosen Eye Surgery Center in UK. He also participated in the phase 3 trial of photodynamic therapy in age-related macular degeneration. He is currently interested in glaucoma, cataract, refractive surgery, cornea and advanced anterior segment surgeries at Uludağ University. He has been working in a clinic that provides intensive care of eye diseases for almost 20 years. He is performing complicated and combined eye surgeries in a clinic where problematic and difficult cases usually apply. He also has Associate Degree in Law. He is training on Health Law and physician-patient relations. Besides that, he is working in his private clinic.
