Education and Career

In 1983 I graduated from Uludag University Faculty of Medicine.. I worked as general practitioner in Sarıkamış between 1983-1985

Between 1985 and 1989, I completed my residency in pediatrics at Uludag University Faculty of Medicine Department of Pediatrics.

Until 1992, I worked as a pediatrician in the same hospital. In 1993 I became an assistant professor.

In 1993, I started to work as fellow of neonatology in New York University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology

Between 1994 and 1995, I completed the fellowship training in Neonatology in Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine.

I became associated professör in 1996 I received the title of professor in 2002

I have been working Uludag University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology since 1996.

Areas of Interest and Research

I have different studies related to the newborn. In particular, I have studies on subjects such as sepsis, prematurity retinopathy and bronchopulmonary dysplasia, which are serious problems in premature infants.
