Esin SÖĞÜTLÜ SARI

Education and Professional Experience: Esin Sogutlu Sari graduated from Bursa Girls High School in 1997 and from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2003. He completed his ophthalmology residency training in Istanbul Dr Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital, Ophthalmology Clinic between 2004-2009. In 2009, he worked as an observer physician in the Refractive Surgery unit of Alicante Vissum Eye Clinic, Spain. Between 2010 and 2012, he completed his compulsory service at Mardin Nusaybin State Hospital. In 2014, he completed the training given by the Istanbul Dr Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital Eye Bank and received the Eye Bank Medical Director certificate. In the same year, he contributed to the establishment of Cornea Bank within the body of Balıkesir University Faculty of Medicine Practice and Research Hospital. In 2015, he received a certificate of appreciation from the Ministry of Health for his contributions to corneal transplantation and corneal donor procurement. He received the title of associate professor in 2015. International Council of Ophthalmology's optics and refraction; passed the basic and clinical science levels. He passed the European Board of Ophthalmology exam and was awarded the title of FEBO. He is a member of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association and the European Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Her main research areas are pediatric and adult cornea, ocular surface and anterior segment diseases.
