CELALEDDİN DEMİRCAN

He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1983. He served as a phisician at Mardin Yeşilli Village Health Center, Istanbul Aksaray Military Medical Center and Tekirdağ Central Health Center. He finished his specialty training at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine Department of Internal Medicine (IM) between 1988-1992. He served as an IM Specialist at Bilecik Gölpazarı Health Center, Bursa State Hospital and then at Uludağ University (UU) Faculty of Medicine Department of Emergency Medicine (EM). He won the education scholarship of Ministry of Health and conducted a "post-doctoral research" study on "Critical care systems’’ at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital Neurotrauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in the USA, Virginia for 3 months in 1998. He began to serve as an Assistant Professor at UU Faculty of Medicine Department of IM in 2001. He got the degree of Associate Professor in 2006. In 2010, he was appointed to the Associate Professor staff and to the Head of the Division of General IM. He served as a guest phisician at Hacettepe University Hospital IM ICU and at UU Hospital ICUs for a total of 12 months (2006-2007). He also finished the doctoral research education in UU Institute of Health Sciences Department of Medical Pharmacology (2005-2013) and got the degree of Ph.D. of Pharmacology. As additionally duties, he served as the Head of Department of EM (2003-2006), the Secretary of Hospital Nutrition Team (2008-2011), the Head of the Purchasing Commission (2011-2015), and the Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine (2014-2015).
