ALP GURBET

After completing his undergraduate studies in Istanbul, he started to study at Uludag University Faculty of Medicine in 1987 and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1993 and received the title of “Doctor of Medicine”. In 1998, he started his residency training in the “Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation at Uludag University", Faculty of Medicine, and in December 2002 he became an expert in the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation. After completing his specialty education, he started to work as a specialist in the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, and also in Pain Clinic. He received the Assistant Professor in 2007, Associate Professor in 2010 and Professor in 2017.

 

In order to increase knowledge and experience he visited Algology Departments as an observer; In  April - May 2007 in Ege University Faculty of Medicine for 2 months and in October-November-December 2007 in Istanbul University, Çapa Medical Faculty for 3 months . In 2012, he received Pain Specialist subspecialty certificate issued by the Ministry of Health.

 

He is a member of many national and international professional institutions, organizations and associations such as Turkish Algology - Pain Association, Turkish Anesthesiology and Reanimation Association, Regional Anesthesia Society, World Institute of Pain and European Society of Regional Anesthesia. He has 23 articles in international medical jornuals and 18 articles in Turkish medicine journals. He is still working in Uludag University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation, Department of Algology.
