AHMET URSAVAŞ

On December 30, 1972, he was born in Çankırı, Çerkeş district. Between 1979 and 1984, he attended Çerkeş Namık Kemal Primary School. Between 1984 and 1987, he attended Çerkeş 19 Mayıs High School for his secondary education. Between 1987 and 1990, he attended Bursa Boys’ High School. He graduated from Uludag University Faculty of Medicine on July 30, 1996. In 1997, he passed the specialty exam after working as a general practitioner in Bursa Yıldırım Municipality's Millet neighborhood health center for one month. On June 2, 1997, he began his specialization training at Uludag University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis. He spent two months in the Sleep Laboratory of Gülhane Military Medical Academy Training Hospital learning polysomnography and treating sleep disorders between February 26 and April 26, 2002. On March 23, 2002, he was certified as a specialist in Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis. Between September 18, 2002, and October 10, 2002, he worked at Lund University in Sweden on sleep breathing disorders and home mechanical ventilation. On 03.07.2014, he received the titles of associate professor and professor after passing the associate professorship exam on 09.01.2010. He is still employed as a Professor in the Department of Chest Diseases at Uludag University's Faculty of Medicine. He is married and the father of two children. He is fluent in English.
