SERHAT ÖZBEK

Graduated from Ankara Anadolu Lisesi and Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine in years 1982 and 1989, respectively. Between years 1989 and 1991 practiced as a resident in Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physical Teraphy and Rehabilitation. Afterwards, transferred to Uludağ University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as a resident, in 1991. Residency continued until year 1997. And then, he continued his practice in the same department as a specialist between years 1997 -1999, as an Assistant Professor between years 1999 – 2006 and as an Associate Professor between years 2006 – 2011. Since then, he is still practicing Plastic Surgery as a Professor, again in the same department. He studied as a fellow for three months in East Virginia University, Medical Faculty, Department of Microsurgery, in 2004. Giving lectures in almost all areas of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for medical students and residents.
