She completed her medical education in Uludag University Faculty of Medicine in 1981. She worked as general practitioner between 1981-1985. In 1989, he completed his specialty education in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Uludag University Faculty of Medicine. Between 1990 and 1992, he worked as an FTR specialist at the Mustafa Kemalpaşa State Hospital in Bursa. In 1992, she started to work as FTR specialist in the Department of FTR in Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine. She became Assistant Professor in 1993, Associate Professor in 1999 and Professor in 2007. In 1993, she worked as an observer in the Pediatric Rehabilitation Unit at Long Island College Hospital in New York, USA (2 months) and pediatric rehabilitation unit (1 month) at New York University Department.of PM & R. She still works at Uludağ University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of FTR and is the chairman of the department.

She is a member of associations: Turkish Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Turkish society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialists, and Turkish League Against Rheumatism.

 

She still maintains Bursa Branch chairman task of Turkish Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

 

She has been working actively in the working groups of Turkish Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (geriatric rehabilitation, Osteoporosis, Physical medicine and rehabilitation modalities).
