CANAN TUZ YILMAZ

She is graduated from Bursa Anatolian High School in 1999 and from Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. Between 2008-2010 at Bolu Göynük District Hospital and between 2010-2022 in the private sector; she worked as an emergency room physician. She completed her specialization training in Ankara University Family Medicine in 2015. She completed her compulsory service in Erzincan Kemaliye District Hospital as a director in 2015-2016. After working as a family medicine specialist at the Family Health Center No. 04 in Erzincan Üzümlü district in 2016-2017, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor to the Department of Family Medicine at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University in 2017. In 2019, she served as the Vice Chairman of the Clinical Research Ethics Committee of Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University. After acting as the head of the department of the same university between 2018-2020, she started to work as a lecturer at Bursa Uludağ University in 2021. At the same time, she is in the thesis period in Hacettepe University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Medical Education and Informatics. She continues the EUPCA (European Palliative Care Academy) Leadership in Palliative Care program. She is currently serving as a peer mentor during the AfriWon African Research Community 2021 semester.
