He was born in Bafra in 1963. He graduated from Bafra High School in 1980 and Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1987. Between 1987 and 1988, he worked as a general Practitioner at Aydın Health Center in Zonguldak. In 1988, he started his Residency training at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Between 1991 – 1992, with a scholarship from the Government of Italy, he studied at the ” Universita Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore Facolta di Medicina - Agostino Gemelli - Istituto di Clinica Ostetrica e Ginecologica, 4th in Rome and he studied “Gynecological Endoscopy” as a fourth year research assistant. In 1992, he became an Obstetrician-Gynecologist. From 1992 to 1995, he worked as a Specialist Doctor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine. In 1995, he became an Assistant Professor. In 1995 – 1996, he was a fellow of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at The University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He became an Associate Professor in 1998 and a Professor in 2004. He worked in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility - IVF at Uludag University Faculty of Medicine as a Faculty Member until January 2013. In 2018, he developed the neovagen technique in müllerian agenesis, which has entered the literature under his own name.He has been the president and board member of TSRM Reproductive Health and Infertility Association, Vice President of Gynaecological Endoscopy Association, Board Member of National Menopause and Osteoporosis Society, President of Minimally Invasive Gynecology Association. He has been working as a referee in numerous magazines at home and abroad. He has worked as an organizer and educator of numerous congresses and symposiums at national and abroad. He can speak English and Italian. He is married and has 2 children.
