Education and Career

Pınar Taşar graduated from Uludağ University’s Medical Faculty in 2001. Subsequently she received her specialization education in General Surgery Department of Uludag University’s Medical Faculty between 2002 and 2007. Taşar completed her compulsory service as General Surgery specialist in Boğazlıyan State Hospital between 2007 and 2011. She was appointed as a specialist doctor to the Department of General Surgery of Uludağ University’s Medical Faculty in 2011 and as a Doctor Teaching Assistant to the same department in 2016. Taşar became an associate professor in October 2017.

Areas of Interest and Research

Taşar’s researches have been focused on the fields of hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery and nutrition.
