ŞEYDA GÜNAY POLATKAN

She graduated from Erzurum İbrahim Hakkı Science High School in 2002. She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2008 with a High Honor Student degree. In 2008, she started residency program at Uludag University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiology. In 2013, she completed thesis study titled "Evaluation of Endothelial Dysfunction with Arterial Stiffness, Serum Endothelin-1 Level and Its Relationship with Coronary Artery Disease Severity" and became a specialist of cardiology. In 2014, she started to work as a specialist of cardiology at Mersin Tarsus State Hospital. In 2016, she started his doctorate program at Uludağ University Health Sciences Institute, Department of Medical Physiology. She worked as a specialist of cardiology at Istanbul Bahçelievler State Hospital between 2017-2019. In 2019, she started to work as a lecturer doctor at Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiology. She became an associate professor of cardiology in 2022.She is a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology, the Cardiovascular Academy, and the European Society of Cardiology.
