ALPARSLAN BİRDANE

He was born in August 1971 in Bolvadin. He graduated from Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine in 1994 with a degree. He completed his first specialty in medicine at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine. During his specialization, he was awarded the "Prof Dr M. Şeref Zileli Award-1997-Successful Assistant of the Year".He completed his specialization in Cardiology as his second specialty in medicine in Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine in December 2001. He worked as a specialist, lecturer and assistant professor, respectively, in the Department of Cardiology, Faculty of Medicine, Eskişehir Osmangazi University.While working at the same institution, he received the title of Associate Professor in 2007 and Professor in February 2013. Since June 2020, he has been working in Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiology. He served as a board member at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, deputy dean and most recently as the Vice Rector at Eskişehir Osmangazi University. He worked as the European Cardiologist (2002), Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (2003), Turkish Cardiology Association Hypertension Working Group President (2014-2016). As an overseas experience, he was a visiting cardiologist at McMaster University Hamilton Health Sciences, Hamilton General Hospital, Canada for 3 months, in 2003, where he also attended various workshops on medical education.
