DESCRIPTIONS OF MEDICAL FACULTY CURRICULUM
The first year of a 7-year medical education is composed of preparatory English courses. In the following six semesters (1st, 2nd and 3rd years) basic curriculum, which belongs to basic and clinical sciences, are introduced. In this term, all students participate in class courses and attend practical studies in small groups. In the fourth and the fifth years, block education program is applied, and students are initially expected to complete obligatory block education (whole 4th year and the first 24 weeks of the 5th year) followed by an elective program selected by the student according to her/his requirements and interests. Within the obligatory block education academic staff gives a minimum 2-hour seminars yhe daily. At the end of above mentioned terms, students who successfully complete the previously determined credits and other conditions, undergo a 12-month family medicine term and work as an intern doctor
